Entries for the Show are now being accepted:

• To enter via mail or in person, please print an entry form (PDF).
• To complete your entry online (payment via credit card only) please use the online form. Please note that for categories 5 and/or 6 you will not be able to use the online form. Please use the printable form above.

The deadline for entries is 17th September 2011.

To enter your quilt(s) you must be a financial member of Queensland Quilters Inc. (unless you are entering a quilt in Categories 5 or 6), and you must comply with the Conditions of Entry.

Here is a brief outline of what you need to do.

• Using the flow chart (PDF) select your Category.
• Check the check list.
• Complete the Entry Form and send in with payment and photo or enter on line through the website, by 17th September.
• By the end of September you will be notified where your quilt collector for the show is located.
• Drop off your quilts by 2nd October.
• Judging day is Wednesday 5th October. Winners will be notified by phone after this day.
• Quilts are taken to the show by the allocated collectors.
• Prize Presentations are on Wednesday 19th October at the quilt show.
• The Quilt Show runs October 21 to October 25.
• Quilts are taken home from the show by the allocated collectors.
• Contact your quilt collector to arrange to pick up your quilt.

AMATEUR

1. Pieced - includes Whole Cloth and Crazy Quilts
   Size: Min. 600cm outer perimeter, Max.300cm x 300cm.

2. Appliquéd – the predominant technique
   Size: Min. 600cm outer perimeter, Max. 300cm x 300cm.

3. Small Quilt –to be pieced, appliquéd, Whole Cloth or Crazy only (no pictorials or art)
   Size: No minimum, Max. 590cm outer perimeter

4. First Time Entrant - any technique
   Size: No minimum outer perimeter, Max. 300cm x 300cm.

5. Junior – Primary School.

6. Senior – Secondary School.

7. Commercially Quilted – The quilt top to be made by one person and quilted by another,

17. Group/Collaborative Quilt – This is a quilt made by three or more people and includes round robin, friendship and raffle quilts. Quilts may be quilted on a machine quilting system.
