The deadline for entries is Tuesday September 9 2008.

To enter your quilt(s) you must be a financial member of Queensland Quilters Inc. as at August 31 2008 (unless you are entering a quilt in Categories 5 or 6), and you must comply with the Conditions of Entry.

    NON-PROFESSIONAL

    Size: No minimum, Max. 590cm outer perimeter

  5. Junior – Primary School

  7. Commercially Quilted – The quilt top to be made by one person, who is classed as non-professional, and commercially quilted. The work on the quilt top to be judged with the quilting considered contributing to the overall design. All parties are to be acknowledged. Prize to the entrant only.

  12. Commercial Quilter - The entire quilt is to be made and quilted solely by one person and quilted on a long arm or machine quilting system. The machine quilting is to be included in the judging.

  13. Group/Collaborative Quilt – This is a quilt made by two or more people and includes round robin, friendship and raffle quilts. Quilts may be commercially quilted. All parties are to be acknowledged. Prize to entrant only.

  14. Pictorial Quilt – To be a representation of a person, place or thing.

  15. Art Quilt - To be of an original design with no similarity to the works of another artist.
