In this class you will explore the capabilities of your sewing machine to do machine quilting, free hand embroidery, writing your name, tips for using metallic threads etc.

Silk Paper and Burnt Edge Flowers

1pm to 3pm (after the day gathering)

Venue: Greenslopes Bowls Club

Cost: $10

This is a fun class, learning how to turn silk caps into paper that is used on Art Quilts. You will also learn to use organza to make the most delicate flowers and leaves. You will enjoy the creativity of this afternoon.

Cost: $75

You will learn how to make fabric stitched on soluble fibre. Use oil sticks, painting on fabric etc. This is one not to miss if you wish to move up a notch and start making Art Quilts, or incorporate these techniques in your current projects.
