Deep in the Forest - Marion Campbell

There is childhood song that begins, ‘Deep in the forest I know a fairy grove, there
in the cooling shade I like to lie’. The intention was to create a forest floor, with
filtered light and colours coming from above.

• Standard 100% quilting cottons. Variegated quilting threads

• Fabrics were chosen for their abstract patterns within a limited colour range. The
old fashioned block suited the idea that the fabrics would blend and the block be
less obvious.
