We are proud to offer a Quilt Appraisal service for both members and non members. Appraisals are conducted by trained 2Q Quilt Appraisers who have undertaken many long hours of instruction and education in this area.
Appraisals are for personal use and gives a replacement value only. If you wish to insure your quilt, you must contact your insurer to discuss the matter with them. Qld Quilters gives no assurance that your insurance provider will use this appraisal when determining an insurance value.
Getting an Appraisal
If you wish to have your quilt appraised, please fill in the online application form and complete your payment, either by Direct Deposit or Credit Card AT LEAST two weeks prior to the Appraisal date.
The cost of Appraisals are:
- Members: $20
- Non-Members: $30
Payment must be received prior to Appraisal day, either by Direct Deposit into the Qld Quilters Inc bank account, or by contacting Verna Hunt to pay by Credit Card. Details of both methods of payment are included on the online form.
